Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I love to talk about books, fashion, social issues, and sometimes even my doggo Robin.

Dressing for the Endgame

Dressing for the Endgame

Today is the day. After what feels like the longest year ever, tonight I finally get to see how it all ends. And I’m not at all emotionally prepared… for the Endgame.

So of course to distract myself from thinking about the possible deaths of all my favorite fictional characters, I’ve been planning possible outfits for tonight’s premier. I’ve put together three possibilities and if you follow me on twitter you got a sneak preview of this first one.

Jumpsuit and Captain Marvel Shirt : Target , Gold ballet flats: Old Navy , Heartbreaker Fanny Pack: Sugarbones

I love this outfit and it’s super cute and comfortable. But then I remembered that Endgame is over 3 hours long and my bathroom breaks are going to need to be quick. Getting out of a jumpsuit along with a fanny pack just won’t work for the movies. But I will absolutely be rocking this outfit some other time this weekend because it’s just too cute to not show off.

Girls Can shirt: Target , Avengers skirt and bomber jacket : Torrid, Gazelle Adidas , Space necklace: Amazon

I’m pretty sure they’re going to space in this one. Between the remaining Guardians and Captain Marvel, space travel is totally possible for the remaining Avengers to find (and kill) Thanos. So this look is a little out of this world (LULZ… PUNZ) and I’m absolutely in love with the whole Avengers collections at Torrid. It’s always refreshing to find plus size nerdy fashion that is cute and functional (that skirt has pockets!).

Dress: Target , Her Universe Captain America tank top: Kohls (from a few years ago, sry fwends), Wrangler jacket: Amazon , Black ballet flats: Old Navy , Heartbreaker fanny pack: Sugarbones

When I got up this morning and put on this outfit I knew this was the winner. I actually wore this same top when I saw Infinity War last year so we’ve come full circle. I’ll add the fanny pack tonight which I always love wearing to the movies because then I don’t have to put my purse on the sticky theater floor. Now all I need is a giant Diet Coke (omg we’re going to a 10:00pm showing), a huge tub of popcorn, and a pack of tissues. I’ll be back this weekend with a spoiler free and gif filled review of the movie because I think reaction gifs might be the only way I’ll be able to communicate after my heart is ripped out of my body by the Russo brothers in a few hours.

See you on the other side friends!
